Description
The Winchester futon couch frame is a very appealing frame featuring a solid steam-bent arm rest. It is crafted using sustainably harvested solid rubberwood.
Operating the Winchester is easy since it uses the most trouble-free futon converting system in the business. The operating system allows easy conversion from sofa to bed, and back to sofa, all operated from the front, all in a few quick steps.
The Winchester is built to last. Produced from the finest plantation grown materials and constructed with traditional woodworking good sense. The Winchester frame utilizes nested body packing. Seat and back decks are fully assembled right out of the box.
All futon frames come with a limited 3 year warranty.
A note on ordering: This item takes 1-2 weeks to become available, depending on supplier inventory. Once you have placed your order, we will call you when it can be picked up from our store. If you need something faster, please call the store and check to see what we have in stock.
Night and Day Frames are made from Rubberwood (Parawood).
Commonly known as the rubber tree or Para rubber tree, it is native to the Amazon Region of South America. Rubberwood produces the latex used in rubber-based products. After the economic life of the rubber tree, which is generally 26-30 years, the latex yields become extremely low and the planters then fell the rubber trees and plant new ones. So, unlike other woods that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, Rubberwood is used only after it completes its latex-producing cycle and dies. Rubberwood wood is eco-friendly since the wood would otherwise go to waste.
A note on ordering: Unfortunately we cannot stock all available frame options open to us. Chances are this product has to be ordered for you and can take up to two weeks to come in. We will call you once your order has arrived at the store and let you know about pick up options. If you need a frame in a shorter amount of time, give us a call and we can do a inventory check and let you know what is on hand. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
