Description
This futon is a Cotton Cloud original and is among our most popular futons. It is a versatile handcrafted futon that is designed for everyday use as a sofa and the occasional bed. The Lovejoy is appropriate for heavier use rooms like living-rooms and family-rooms and is our most popular & best selling couch futon. It has an estimated life span of 5-10 years.
At the center of this approximately 8" futon are two 2" pieces of HR convoluted piece of CertiPUR-US® Foam, which provides resiliency and support. This core is wrapped in naturally luxurious cotton batting, a fluffy layer of high quality wool is the final layer, which enhances bodily warmth in winter and coolness in summer. All of the materials are protected by a heavy duty 100% cotton fabric outer shell that features double-stitched seams. Our futons are tufted in order to keep all of the materials in place.
CertiPUR-US® foam is a flexible polyurethane foam which has been rigorously tested and certified by an accredited laboratory to meet specific criteria for physical performance, content, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship. CertiPUR-US® approved foams are:
- Low emission (VOCs) for indoor air quality
- Made without prohibited phthalates
- Made without ozone depleters (no CFCs)
- Made without mercury, lead or heavy metals
- Made without formaldehyde
- Made without PBDEs
Because of the risk of mold or mildew, this type of mattress needs a breathable surface to rest on. A slatted frame is ideal. Solid surfaces or the floor are NOT appropriate places to keep it. IF you need a suggestion for a frame let us know! We will be happy to help you pick a frame to go along with your mattress. Regular flipping and rotating of the mattress is required for maintenance.
A note on ordering: unfortunately we cannot stock everything in our catalog, most futons are made to order. This can take up to 2-3 weeks for your new futon or mattress to become available. If you need something right away, please call the store and ask us to check inventory before placing your order online. Otherwise, we will contact you when your order is available for pick up or has been shipped.

Local Delivery- Have your items delivered by a third party delivery company to your local address. If you would like your items delivered, please give us a call or email asking for delivery information. Please note, a company like More Than Freights is a separate company from us and will charge a fee for their service. A delivery fee has NOT been added to this listing.
